Welcome to my Blog, enjoy your stay!
Carla
hi to everybody
I had my very first massage last night. I'd bought my husband a thirty-minute massage for his birthday, but he thought I could use it more than him.
Sitting as many hours as I do at the computer, there are nights my back and shoulders are really sore and I also suffer from chronic leg pain since I broke my foot three years ago.
The first thing masseuse James told me was that I desperately need to see a chiropractor. Apparently my hips need to be cracked or smacked or something because one of my legs are longer than the other, indicating that something is out of whack.
After that I had thirty minutes of intense massage on my back, neck and shoulders. Most of the time it felt awesome but he found some hot spots that were really, really tender. By the time I left I felt like a limp noodle, but I woke up this morning and I'M IN PAIN! My back is tender to the touch and I think good old James might have done a little too much work on me.
I have no idea if this is normal or not, but I've decided I like my husband's backrubs better. They don't accomplish much but I never hurt in the morning.
So, I think I'm going to say goodbye to James and maybe next time I want to treat myself I'll try a facial.
Thanks for stopping by!
