Carla : Kara, even when there's few groceries in the house that just means I have to be more creative. Although I must confess Frank and I have started to get into the habit of eating out lunch on Fridays. I love it. I told him I could get used to it oh, about seven days a week!

All Work and No Play

Today was a full work day for me.  I'm currently finishing up a proposal for a Harlequin Intrigue book and also working on a new proposal for NAL.  I'd love to get them both out at the beginning of next week.

I also managed to get the last of Christmas put away in boxes for next year.  Each year I go out after Christmas and buy a decoration half-price then pack it up and when I get out the Christmas stuff next year I have a brand new piece.  This year I picked up a beautiful gold sleigh that will make a beautiful table decoration.   It even made me want to have a Christmas open house next year.  I'm sure that impulse will pass as the year goes on.

Our weather is about to get amazing for this time of year.  By Sunday it's supposed to be in the mid-sixties.  Awesome!  I know it won't last long.  It would be nice if spring began on Jan 1st and we could start the new year with the season of rebirth.
