Carla : Kara, even when there's few groceries in the house that just means I have to be more creative. Although I must confess Frank and I have started to get into the habit of eating out lunch on Fridays. I love it. I told him I could get used to it oh, about seven days a week!
Kara: We eat out because we never have groceries in the house, especially when I'm on a deadline (like now!)

Another Monday

The beginning of a new week and I have tons of work to do.  I finished up two proposals to put in the mail today and while I'm waiting for the editors to look them over and give me a go-ahead, I've got another book to get started.

I've also been asked to speak to a group at a local church on the 25th of this month.  My topic is So You Want To Be A Writer.  I'd like to get some handouts ready to go and of course some shameless self-promotion.

Today is errand day.  Mail manuscripts, get groceries, put gas in the car and get my hair cut.   Hopefully then I can stay in for the rest of the week and get a lot of work done.
