A long week!

Well, it's been a long week.  On Monday morning my mother took a swan dive down a flight of stairs and landed on her head.  She was rushed to the hospital and put into ICU suffering a little bleeding in the brain.  Two days before that she'd had her pacemaker replaced.  Scary stuff.

But, she's a tough one and is back home today, bruised and sore and grounded for life from climbing stairs.  I can't believe how incredibly lucky we all were that she didn't break her neck.  Her poor face is bruised and my father is trying to take credit for the rug burns on her face, but it could have been such a tragedy.

She is an amazing woman.  She has cardiac myopothy and only one kidney.  She's had two strokes but greets each day with an amazing lust for life.  She never complains and I absolutely adore her.

She's my heroine.

On the writing front I'm working on finishing up a Silhouette Romantic Suspense and getting ready to work on a proposal for a new continuity for Harlequin Intrigue.

I'm excited for my April release from Signet. Last Gasp and just recently saw the cover for my October Signet release, Up Close and Personal and it's hot!!

I'm planning a little publicity trip to Tulsa and Oklahoma City.  I'm hoping I have some fans in those cities!

That's it from me for now.  Happy reading and good health to all!
