Carla : Kara, even when there's few groceries in the house that just means I have to be more creative. Although I must confess Frank and I have started to get into the habit of eating out lunch on Fridays. I love it. I told him I could get used to it oh, about seven days a week!

Crazy Week

It's been a busy, crazy week or so since last time I posted.  I finally got to the doctor's office and got my prescription for Chantix.  I'm on day three and so far it is't making me sick or anything so I have high hopes.  The dr. said after about a week you have the full benefit.

 

We are in the process of moving my daughter (who is disabled) from one mobile home to another.  We had to tear down the old one and managed to find a really nice one that just needed a lot of cleaning.  She and her partner have been living with us for the past two months and I can't wait to get them settled in their own place!  I love them dearly, but we all function better if we are separate.

So, I'm packing boxes, buying furniture and running myself crazy at the same time I'm trying to finish a book and then I have thirty days to finish another one.

Wow, what a shameless plug.

The other big news of the week is the doctor pulled off one of my toenails   and I got a new editor  The toenail is an unforunate reminder of how toe dancing at a young age can make you pay in ways you never thought it could.  About every two or three years I have to have a big toenail pulled because it ingrows from all the years of abuse.  I know, I know, this was more information than anyone needed!

I'm suddenly brimming with new writing ideas and wish I had thirty hours a day to write. This is a wonderful feeling because there are days I think the well is totally dry and I'll never come up with a new idea for a book again.  Just about the time sheer panic sets in something snaps and the ideas are there.
