Carla : Kara, even when there's few groceries in the house that just means I have to be more creative. Although I must confess Frank and I have started to get into the habit of eating out lunch on Fridays. I love it. I told him I could get used to it oh, about seven days a week!

I Survived!

I survived the weekend!  I spent the last three days playing Barbie, dress-up, store, and house.  I got to be a groom, a babysitter of all dolls, a cashier and a baby.  There's nothing like entering the world of a ten and six-year-old.

Oh yea, and I ate Taco Bell, Pizza rolls, Pop Tarts, spagetti and ice cream.   Life is grand at grandma's house!  My husband even let the girls paint his face with make-up and do make-up tattoos on his arms.  What a guy!

Anyway, they're gone and now I'm faced with deadline dementia.  I've got it figured that in order to make my next deadline I've got to write fourteen pages a day everyday for the rest of the month.

I'm still on the Chantix and it's working because I'm now smoking about half what I was smoking a week ago.  I still haven't set a quit date.  I'm nervous about doing that.   We'll see what this week brings.  Maybe by the end of the week I won't be smoking at all.  At least I'm not bitchy, although I have gained about five pounds.  It couldn't be because of the Taco Bell, Pizza rolls, Pop Tarts...etc.

Well, that's it for me for tonight.  I still have about six pages to write before I can go to bed.
