I just got back from Walmart and Paint It Red was there!  It's official release date isn't until the 7th, but I guess they decided to shelve them early. 

I'm on day seven of the Chantix and so far I don't feel anything magic happening.  Bummer...guess I really have to WORK at this stopping smoking stuff.  I do think I'm not smoking as much, but will set a quit date in the next week or so. 

I'm frantically working on my next Signet book.  It's tentatively titled Broken Pieces (but I imagine that will change)  It's writing easily and that always worries me.  But, I love the story and only hope it unfolds on paper like it teases in my head.  It better unfold fast as it's due at the end of the month.  That means I have about three hundred pages to write in the next three weeks. (hope my editor isn't reading this!)

Some books write fast and some don't and I never know what the difference is.  I have thirty days to write this one, then another thirty days to finish a Harlequin Intrigue.  I'm not expecting to have much of a life for the next two months.  That's fine with me.  I'm really happiest sitting at my computer and watching television and writing.  God, am I boring or what?

I can't wait until fall.  I am soooo over summer!  It's been close to a hundred degrees every day for what seems like forever and everything has that burnt dead look.
