There's nothing I'd love better as a writer than to spend a rainy day in front of the computer.  It just sounds cozy and like the creative juices would flow.  But, this is how it went for me today as it was raining.  Start up the computer, write a couple of words then hear thunder and shut it all down.  No thunder, no lightning, quickly start the computer again, write a word or two....of there's the lightning, shut it down!

And, my creative juices flow the best when I'm watching television and working.  Unfortunately we have Dish tv and when it rains as hard as it did, we have no tv.  So, it went like this...turn on the television, watch two minutes of a show then get the error that signal had been lost.  It comes back on, I watch for five minutes, then the signal gets lost.

So, I finally gave up and baked muffins.  Corn muffins, blueberry, apple cinnamon and triple berry.  All from packages of course.  Now, what in the hell am I gonna do with all these muffins?

Hopefully tomorrow the rain will be gone and I can get back to what I like to do...sprawl in my chair at my desk, watch tv and dabble with a story!
