Well, I tried to talk my husband into the idea that a birthday should last at least two days.  Since I didn't cook, clean or do much of anything for anyone yesterday I wanted a second day of the same stuff, but he wasn't having anything to do with it!

I did start a new project today, one that I hope will be a new series for Harlequin Intrigue.  I think it's going to be fun and exciting and suspenseful...but we'll see what my editor thinks.

I've had tons of people sign up for my newsletter list, but I have to confess that I'm not quite sure how to go about producing and sending a newsletter.  So, hang tight, I'm going to figure it out.

For those of you who have asked me about the Wild West Bodyguard series and if Dalton is going to get a story.  Yes!  It's a spring release from Silhouette Romantic Suspense and after that is a new bodyguard book.  Since all the West family is happily married and having families of their own, the company needs new blood!

Summer has been hanging on around here far too long.  It was almost ninety degrees here today...hot and humid.  I want autumn!  I love cool days and pumpkin pie spices and apples and such.  Oh well, I'm trying to be patient and hoping we don't go from summer to winter overnight.
