Where is the time going?  It seems like I just posted here and I suddenly realize it's been a week!    My schedule is crazy these days, that's the only excuse I have.

So today I got a proposal shot down.  I was devastated, mostly because I was sure the well was dry, that I'd never come up with an idea half as good as the one I'd proposed.  But, the mind is a funny thing.  Just when you think it's empty a seed takes hold and starts to grow.  So, I've got a new idea brewing in my head and I'm looking forward to getting it on paper and sent to my editor. 

The Thanksgiving holiday isn't going to be much of a holiday for me.  I have eighty pages of a book I want to finish, a new proposal to write and copyedits to get to before the week is through. 

The good thing is that I told my kids I wasn't doing a Thanksgiving dinner this year.  Too much to do, too little time.  I figured my husband and I would just grab something to eat and forget about the turkey and trimmings.  Then my son called tonight and he's doing the feast and all we have to do is show up and eat.  Hmm, I might have to take this route every year!

Anyway, to all of you here, Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for supporting me as a writer.  I can't tell you how appreciative I am of my readers!
