Carla : Kara, even when there's few groceries in the house that just means I have to be more creative. Although I must confess Frank and I have started to get into the habit of eating out lunch on Fridays. I love it. I told him I could get used to it oh, about seven days a week!

Kara: We eat out because we never have groceries in the house, especially when I'm on a deadline (like now!)

Another Week

Ah, another week has passed and I've been busy trying to finish up a Silhouette Romantic Suspense. It's the first of a four book series so I have lots of things to set up in it. It's always fun to introduce a new family and the Grayson family is going to be fun to write about. They are four brothers and a sister who work law enforcement for the small town of Black Rock, Kansas.

My April Signet Eclipse, Last Gasp was featured yesterday on the Publishers Weekly, Beyond the Book blog. It was a nice surprise and the reviewer said nice things!

My husband has been painting the interior of the house and we decided to do one wall in my office a dark burgundy. I love it! I've got my framed awards hanging against it and it looks lovely.

My granddaugher has a birthday this weekend so it looks like I'm going to strap on some skates and go to the roller rink. It's a bit daunting, I haven't been skating for about thirty years. Still, you got to do what you have to do to please an eight-year-old!
