Carla : Kara, even when there's few groceries in the house that just means I have to be more creative. Although I must confess Frank and I have started to get into the habit of eating out lunch on Fridays. I love it. I told him I could get used to it oh, about seven days a week!
Kara: We eat out because we never have groceries in the house, especially when I'm on a deadline (like now!)

Bad Carla

I have been such a bad blogger!  I realized my last post here was in April!  Where has the time gone??!

As usual I'm working but I did take two weeks off for a glorious vacation.  We drove to New Mexico, Arizona and ended up in sin city Las Vegas.  The scenery was beautiful, the slots were merciless and the down time was much needed.  I didn't realize how tired I was, how hard I'd been working until I got away from it.

And now I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation!  We've been home a week and I still can't seem to find my normal routine!

Anyway, just thought it was time to pop in and say hi!

I just *had* to drop in and say that I saw your response to the Smart Bitches' review of "Pregnesia." In a season that's seen some amazing author meltdowns online, you got serious style points! People are tweeting about it and it seems to have gotten you at least several sales. :)
